Pocket Observatory members can choose from two paid tiers. Both tiers offer monthly or annual payment options. Annual memberships have a 20% discount. Learn more about membership benefits right here.

It is as easy to cancel as it is to sign up! Hurray! If you cancel before your membership expires, you will retain premium access until the end of your membership period.

I can’t wait to host you at the observatory! Click sign in at the top right corner of this website. Then enter the email you used to subscribe to Pocket Observatory. After you click continue you will receive a login link to the email you entered.

If the sign in button is not at the top off the website, it’s probably because you’re already logged in! Depending on your browser settings, you may stay logged in for months at a time!

That’s right! This website is built with Ghost – an open source publishing platform. Ghost currently only allows login through magic links. I know some people prefer user names and passwords! I get it! But I kind of love that Ghost doesn’t store passwords. It’s another tiny layer of privacy protection I get to offer you.

You can also do this from your Pocket Observatory account! Just sign in, click the account button, select the “emails” box and then click “Manage.” Now click the “Unsubscribe from all emails” button! All done!

Okay, cancellation is very easy!

Log in to your PocketObservatory.org account

See that Account button on the top right hand side of the screen? Click it!

Now, select ‘Change’ next to your subscription category

Scroll to the bottom, and click ‘Cancel Subscription.’

Just one more window to go! Now click ‘confirm cancellation.’

You will have premium access until your membership expires, even if you cancel early. Canceling your paid membership does not unsubscribe you from the free Pocket Observatory newsletters. 

I do not offer refunds. But I do offer financial hardship scholarships! If you must cancel your subscription because of money issues, I will send you a complimentary paid membership. Just email me at pocketobservatory@gmail.com

Pssst: Managing email preferences is not managing your paid subscription! And turning off email delivery does not cancel your paid subscription.

Yes to both! If you move from a monthly membership to an annual membership, your annual subscription will begin on the day you uprade. I do offer discounts on annual memberships! And I do not offer refunds for any days left on your monthly membership! So wait until the end of your monthly membership if you are concerned about that!

If you move from annual to monthly, the month-to-month membership will begin at the end of your annual membership period.
